0 SO WHAT'S YOUR RECENT UPDATE

By: Kitty Choudhary

One thought shared online is adequate to transpire your feelings and emotions to the heart of your friends. In the late hours of night i find myself playing ping pong on IM, facebook, orkut, Myspace and the list goes on… The excitement to know what’s happening among friends, Just dropping in and saying a little Hi to old pals, sharing my joys and sorrows and even wasting some time on all those applications keeps me awake through the night. Addiction of these sites is reminiscent to those of drugs, however drugs seems to be phenomena of the the past. Such tranquilizing these social networking sites have become that everybody, young or old seems to be infatuated by them.

People widely use Facebook and twitter, the two of the most famous networking sites to share their personal life details, day to day experiences and link up with friends. So many times i wonder, who created these sites? What was the need for it? Have such sites ever proved beneficial to us? What are the implications of such sites on our society ? and what is even the need of saying ordinary things on a website? For e.g.; its raining! I’m happy! I m frustrated! I m going to sleep ! I feel like crying, I miss you,I am in love! Blah Blah!! Ooooff do people even care? Does anyone care if you got stuck in your washroom without water and later came online and post is on your page, its a bit funny but what’s the need to tell this to the whole world. I fail to understand that when the info isn’t useful then what’s the fun of publicizing it.

Well however insane it might look, the truth is in modern times, we living a very fast paced life. The recreation time has decreased so much, people turn to these sites to get away from their lives. A friend whose house might be 20 min drive is just one click away on your pc. The Applications, games, contest; groups these sites offer are very lucrative.

These sites are an easy ways of finding like minded people from all across the globe, A small way of getting to know the world beyond one’s physical reach. Here is a brief look into these sites. This networking epidemic rooted from friendster, the first networking site to go online in march, 2003 created by Jonathan Abrams. Then same year in august four e-universe employees created myspace, other year Mark Zuckerbag, 25year old CEO of FB who launched it. Orkut in Feb,2004 by a Turkish born google employee.

Flipping the other side of the coin, however friendly these sites may seem their are always a few rough edges around. As per a survey, it was reported that Indians are more open with strangers than Americans. They are more proactive in using orkut rather than Facebook which is not much secured. Emails, phone numbers and pics everything is usually shared, however a few of these have now started to take some initiative to make the whole affair more private. From time to time these sites have been in news for fake profiles, inappropriate content, pics and even encouraging racialism. These days a trend of stealing information infecting Trojans and viruses through applications offered by these sites is also on rise. Even though these sites extend all kinds of support to its user but most of times is untimely. Updates comes only after the flaws have already been exploited

These sites provide a good platform for liberation of ones thoughts, to learn from everybody’s experiences and to stay connected for free, just create an account and you are good to go...

0 Traffic Bombilation

By Kitty Choudhary

Buzzing horns! Crazy bikers! Urgency to reach on time! Frustrated & Drunkard drivers! Bulky parking! Uneasy environment! …… interminable concerns but where is the solution?

India's economic surge has resulted in a massive increase in the number of private vehicles on its roads overwhelming the transport infrastructure. Increase in traffic rush is definitely the matter of concern which needs to be falsify immediately.

First of all, traffic lights are part of rules which makes people to comply with in order to avoid accidents, but I have seen so many cycle riders and rickshaw pullers regorging on the authorities and not paying attention to the traffic rules, Why? Because there is no one who can expel their cycle licenses or can stop them from whooping over the wrong ways.

What’s your issue?-Wearing helmet is my concern, it spoils my hairstyle! To drive on a slow pace is my concern! To carry all of my family members on two wheeler is my concern! I have a car and two wheeler drivers who occupy the roads is my concern! I’m affected by Asthma and polluted environment is my concern! Driving without music is my concern! Attending calls and texting is my concern! Following others league is my concern! Claptrap issues but which one really needs to be worked on is the work of traffic authorities. When we know its just a matter of few bucks, and traffic police, who doesn’t earn much, its their way to increase their income and accomplish the basic amenities of their families.

Over crowded Traffic Effects:

* Delays, which may result in late arrival for employment, meetings, and education, resulting in lost business, disciplinary action or other personal losses.
* Wasted fuel increasing air pollution and carbon dioxide emissions which may contribute to global warming
* Wear and tear on vehicles as a result of idling in traffic and frequent acceleration and braking, leading to more frequent repairs and replacements.
* Stressed and frustrated motorists, encouraging road rage and reduced health of motorists
* Pollution caused by slow moving traffic. This is exacerbated if heavy diesel vehicles are part of the traffic flow.

System needs contiguous alteration in order to avoid the violation of traffic rules, traffic police requires a watchdog job from authorities, to ensure that they are not supporting bribe and making public aware about the traffic laws.

Hope to have some favored comments and supportive measures to reduce the traffic rush!!....

0 CHAMPIONS AREN’T MADE IN GYMS

By: Kitty Choudhary.
“Passing the day under the creator’s shadow, closing the eyes with the echoes in our dreams…. all has now frowned away.”
We all have heard end number of tails all about the easy & simple way of approaching academics and grabbing a satisfactory job. But the present era of competition which is undoubtedly created by human mind spines only, has wrapped the world under consciousness of success. We all are blindly running in the race of pedagogical attacks. Unknowingly the domain of our interest, one should not always follow the lead, make your own lead and let others follow it. The man famous for his dreams ‘Sheikhchilli’ was no way the smaller personality. He had great vision; he had good brain and innate creativity. And to earn a respective position and win over the dreams, these threesome qualities are enough. As it is foresight, hard work as well as dogged determination which make our dreams comes true.
Title line ‘Champions aren’t made in gyms’; they are made from something they have deep inside them---- a desire, a dream and a vision. They have to have last minute stamina, they have to be little faster, they have to have the skill and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill.
Since the time has triggered its unprecedented demand for qualified professionals and nipped with interpersonal and leadership attributes, it has become very necessary to aspire the competitive spirit. A very well said thought- A key which is frequently used remains clean, while a key which is not used gets rusty very soon. Hence to get the maximum out of life one should be active all the time. In the present times it has become really necessary to have the panache to cope with the mushrooming demands of corporate sector. Above all if we gain mastery over inertia and distractions with firm will power it becomes our habit and then we can find ourselves winning the most unacceptable war.

0 Reality Shows- Emotions with TRP

Our elders used to say that Marriages are made in heaven but WAIT ….. Think again do you believe over this saying anymore because now relationships like marriages are happening on television in front of numerous viewer where feelings are no more private and the contenders are supposing falling in love. Well this is the new forum of our television channel to sell the emotions and relationship.

Here I am discussing my views on the selling of relationships through soap operas. Now the genre of Indian television has changed and they have found the steamy and sensual way of increasing the TRP’s .Reality shows were already present on the television since past few years but now a slight change is discovered in them and they are the relationship of two souls. TV serials like Splitsvilla , Rakhi ka swayanwar,Perfect Bride are attracting the audiences. Some weeks before the prime time news focus was more on whether Rakhi will marry any contest or not. So, these Reality Shows are earning good popularity and media is perfectly providing more mileage to them. These emotional documentaries are hyped by media and liked by audiences as well.

In India when some experiments become popular and the whole industry implies it till the charm is lost fully. And the answer comes -Well definitely why not we do it? It’s profitable and in trend. Now, we can simply say that you love them or hate them but you cannot ignore them for sure.

0 Value the small things around Us…

There are lot many small things around us which are not very countable in life but holds lot of importance in our day to day life. We become really habitual of all those small little things but I am not talking about the materialistic things around us. Here I am discussing the people around us who are never in Lime light but very significant in our daily routine. You get to know about the significance when they are not involved with our daily routine. Like an example one day our office boy couldn’t come to the office and we saw the complete havoc. The whole office got mismanaged .We prepared our own tea, washed the used cups, the office appeared dirty and there was no one to provide water in intervals and a complete mess of used dishes. It hampered the work of all the employees. Therefore this instance spins the whole life around me and forced me to write over the value of such people who are considered petty and small but very important in life. My Housemaid, Office Boy, Rubbish Collector and Security Guard there are lot many people who are very vital for us to work efficiently and properly. When we don’t find these people around we do feel the lack of something. We really need to take out some time to give some appreciation for their work and making our life comfortable.
This blog in fact reminded me of a Laga raho Munnabhai Scene where Sanjay Dutt gives Jadoo ki Jhappi to the sweeper and says thanks for the making the Hospital clean and hygienic. Well I am not asking anybody to give hug but still we should not think that they are small and unworthy. They are equally responsible required for any successful project and they deserve the same respect as professional. Here I would really like to thanks all the people around me who are making my life comfortable.
